Honored Experience

I am a trained end-of-life doula with 40 hours of education through INELDA (International End of Life Doula Association). My path into this work is deeply rooted in hands-on caregiving and long-term in-home support.

For three years, I served as the primary caregiver for my grandparents, supporting them through the final stages of their lives until they both passed peacefully at home with me. This experience shaped my understanding of end-of-life care from both a personal and practical perspective, teaching me the importance of presence, advocacy, patience, and honoring a person’s wishes during their final chapter.

In addition to end-of-life support, I have extensive experience providing care and therapeutic massage for individuals with disabilities, including cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, and multiple sclerosis. My work has also included broader in-home healthcare support, where I have assisted individuals with comfort care, mobility needs, and emotional support in their own homes.

My background allows me to approach each person with sensitivity, adaptability, and respect for their unique needs. I bring a calm, grounded presence and a deep commitment to dignity, consent, and person-centered care.

Serving the Community

End of life Volunteer Services

I serve as a community end-of-life doula providing compassionate presence and advocacy for individuals approaching the end of life. My role is to support the dying person and their loved ones by helping ensure that the individual’s wishes, values, and preferences are clearly heard, respected, and honored.

As a volunteer, I offer calm, nonjudgmental companionship during this time, whether that means sitting bedside, listening, supporting meaningful conversations, or simply being present so no one feels alone. I help create space where the dying person’s voice remains central, especially during moments that may feel emotionally complex or overwhelming.

A core part of my role is advocacy. I support the individual in expressing their end-of-life wishes and assist families in understanding and honoring those preferences. I may help facilitate communication between the dying person, loved ones, and care teams to promote clarity, dignity, and respect.

I do not provide medical or legal care, but I work alongside existing supports to help maintain comfort, autonomy, and emotional steadiness. I serve in this role as a community volunteer to help ensure end-of-life care remains person-centered, compassionate, and grounded in respect.

If you or a loved one would benefit from supportive end-of-life companionship and advocacy, I am honored to serve.
